Investing In Gold
We have discussed Gold before but now I want to talk about the different ways that you can invest in Gold, back in the days Gold was used as currency, long before you were even born, and after that we had the Gold Standard which no longer exists, Mr. Robert Kiyosaki says that the economy is going South because we have taken out the gold standard, he says that Gold is Gods money and paper money is worthless.
Gold is a great way to hedge against the declining dollar, Gold is clearly on a bull rally according to the charts, and therefore it’s a great investment for investors that are looking for value. I want to educate and discuss a few methods that you can use to invest in Gold, its time to add real value into your portfolio. Bellow is the different ways that you can invest in gold.
- Physical gold- You can buy physical gold (direct ownership), I think that this method is by far the best and the safest method of investing in Gold for new investors, you can buy gold bullion. Bullion coins are great for small time investors to invest in Gold, the only disadvantage with them is that they are delivered to your possession therefore they can be lost or stolen.
- Gold Exchange traded funds(ETFs)- This method is rather interesting, an ETF is a type of mutual fund that trades on a stock exchange like any other stock, the EFTs portfolio is fixed in advanced thus it does not change, basically the investor buys shares in a stock of physical gold held in the exchange country.
- Buy spot gold- this method is by far one of the riskiest methods due to the amount of leverage that you are exposed to. This method is very speculative, it is opening a forex trading account using a forex broker and trading the spot price of Gold, this method id extremely risky but the rewards are enormous, trading forex is extremely risky and I don’t recommend it to anyone.
